More About Me

Hi Again, still day 1.

I don't want to over post, or go all crazy up front, though you know how boys are with their new toys. Also, I don't want to spend 2 weeks laying the ground work of who I am and lose any potential "follower" before I actually say anything.

First off I am a single person. I was married at a very young age and as go most impulsive decisions so went the marriage. With no disrespect to the other party it was insignificant and barely worth mentioning, though was really one of my first adult lessons. I have had other dating situations but most recently I am seperated from a 10 year exclusive, living together relationship. All things considered, except for a party and letting the local governing body in on the secret, this was my marriage, and I am sad to be apart from it.

I am also a father of a 24 yr old son, and grandfather of a 1 yr old grandson. This is my biggest accomplishment and will probably get much attention in my blogging. Not just as the doting parent and proud grandparent, but in that my son is living a very typical life, and very similar to the life I lived at his age. The interesting thing I hope to share is the vision from the future we all wish we could have and what I think I have recognized while watching my son living his life.

Will he appreciate my wisdom... Honestly I think he appreciates it... The question is does he do anything with it? Did any of us?

In our defense I would say that I for one did not have much fatherly influence in my life and I will of course elaborate at the right time. Also lacking was this wonderful source of information with which we communicate right now. Would I/we have done anything with it to change our futures? I can't say for sure, but I think that certainly every thing in our lives affect who we become, some in larger ways than others.

So there is another piece of the puzzle that is me. Hopefully you're still somewhat wondering how I get by without a "JOB", which I think is my hook and what I can share a little about. I promise to get right to that very shortly.
