Win the darn LOTTERY!
Just found out on the news that a guy from Missouri won a quarter of a billion dollars in the lottery!
WTH!?!?!
I guess I'm cursed by the fact that I can do math. Math like..
Your chance of winning I think is 1:250,000,000 or better.
The guy who won bought a $5 quick pick.. his total cash net worth was $28...in other words, wagered near 20% on a 1 in quarter billion shot.
HALF.. needless to say he'll be seeing WAY less than 1/2 of the money. Can we say TAXES!
And he'll lose even more because the smart bet is to take all your winnings upfront, and to do so you'll give up even more.
So the poor schmuck will probably end up with a measely 70-80 million dollars of his quarter BILLION buck winning ticket.
I hope he reads my blog, I can give him a hand about living frugally so he can probably give up that convenience store job he's working at $7.25 per hour!
